Apply Online for Permanent Account Number(PAN Card)
Permanent Account Number or PAN Card is a nationalized identity card. Without a PAN, you will not be able to carry out any financial transactions. It is the Indian Income Tax Department that allocates this 10-digit alphanumeric and unique account number to a tax-paying person, company, or HUF.
PAN can be applied online. Online application of PAN can be made on the NSDL website or UTIITSL website. Both have been authorized by the government of India to issue the PAN or make changes/corrections in the PAN on behalf of the Income Tax Department.

- Aadhar Card
- Voter Identity or Voter ID
- Ration Card
- Arms License
- Passport
- Driving license
- Pension Card with Photograph
- Photo ID Issued by the Central or State Government Authority
IMPORTANT:
You should also provide your own active Mobile number and E-mail ID while applying for the PAN card online. There are many advantages of adding the mobile number & email address like for some reason if you need to change your mobile number then you can easily do that using your email address.
Also, if you add an email address to your PAN then you can download the pdf of your PAN card from anywhere and use it as per your need. It can be very useful when you lost your PAN card or if you are not at your home and suddenly you need your PAN card.
Application fee to Apply Online for PAN Card
When you are applying for PAN Card online, you will have to pay 107/- Rs. And Indian Citizen Resident in Abroad will have to pay 989/- Rs. for PAN Card Registration. The online application fee can be paid through Debit Card, Credit Card, Net Banking or pay the fee through Offline.
