UGC NET Result 2019 –
National Testing Agency (NTA) has released the result of University Grants Commission National Eligibility Test (UGC NET) 2019 on (today) Tuesday 31, December, 2019. The Result is declared on the NTA official website at ugcnet.nta.nic.in.

A total of 10,34,872 candidates were appeared in the UGC NET 2019 examination which was conducted from December 02 to December 06, 2019, covering 81 subjects.
The exam was conducted in 700 centers in 219 cities across the country through Computer Based Test (CBT) mode.
The NTA had released UGC NET December 2019 Final Answer Key on December 23, 2019, on its official website. Now on December, 31, 2019 NTA has Declared the result of UGC NET 2019 December Examination.

Step 2: Click on the link which reads “View Result/ Score Card”
Step 3: Now, you will be redirected to a new page.
Step 4: Enter your Application Number, & Password and click on Submit. Or you can enter Application number, & Date of Birth to see your result.
Step 5: The Result will be displayed on your screen, download it as a document form (.pdf), and save the result.
Step 6: Now take a print out of the Result slip for future use.

UGC-NET Result 2019: Qualifying marks
The UGC NET qualifying marks for General category candidates is 40% in Paper I and II. While the qualifying marks for reserved category candidates is 35% in Paper I & II.

Above given is only qualifying marks but the NTA Among the total number of appeared students only 6% of candidates to be selected in each session of UGC NET exam cut off.
Candidates who secure UGC NET cut off marks in both Papers I and II will be shortlisted and as per their rank in the merit list, they will be considered eligible for Assistant Professor and Junior Research Fellowship (JRF) programs.
UGC NET Cut Off 2019 for (Junior Research Fellowship) JRF.
The examination authority selects a certain number from the top 6% UGC NET qualified candidates for Junior Research Fellowship (JRF) after considering their eligibility in terms of age. According to eligibility criteria for JRF, the upper age limit for general category candidates is 30 years as on dates prescribed. The upper age limit is 33 years for reserved category candidates. A relaxation of upto 5 years is provided to the candidates belonging to OBC NCL/SC/ST/PwD
UGC NET Cut Off 2019 for Assistant Professor (AP)
While deriving UGC NET cut off for AP, the aggregate percentage of the two papers corresponding to the number of slots arrived will determine the qualifying cut off for Assistant Professor ‘in ‘Economics’ for the SC category. A similar procedure will be implemented for deriving the UGC NET subject-wise qualifying cut-offs for all categories.
